We are in Disneyland !

The first things you can see in Disneyland are Main Street USA and Sleeping Beauty's castle at the end of the town. Main Street looks like a street in a small town around 1900. It is full of shops and restaurants.
There are parades and bands, and you can see old cars, buses and horse-drawn carriages.
There are all kinds of shops in Main Street - even a barber's shop where you can have your hair cut.
Sometimes Disney characters visit the shops and help. But today the barber is shaving a customer.
There are lots of shows every day with famous characters from books and history. This is Merlin, the magician, with King Arthur's sword , Excalibur. You can try to pull the sword out, but you have to be very strong.
There is a part of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in Festival Disney. There are rodeo games with cowboys and Indians, like the Pony Express. The cowboys ride their wagon and the Indians try to take it from them

English - Medium schools

There are a number of English - medium schools around the world. In these schools, students use English in some of their subjects, for example, Science and Maths.
Most of the students are day students. They go to school in the mornings and go home in the afternoons.
A few of the students are boarders. They don't go home after lessons, they stay at school. Their homes are often a long way away , so they eat, sleep and do their homework at school.
Boarders can't go home and watch TV in the afternoons. They have to follow a routine. They have to go to the study hall and do their homework from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. They have to be in the dining room for dinner by 8.00 p.m. Then, at 9.00 p.m, they get ready for bed. They have to be in bed before 9.30 p.m. A supervisor checks that everyone is in bed, and then it's "lights out ". They mustn't read in bed after 9.30 p.m !.
